Hi all,

I have been reading through Thessalonians, and the stand out for me at the moment was Paul, Silas, and Timothy’s love for the Thessalonian church.

I have indeed been convicted of the amount I think and pray for those I know who have recently seen and known Jesus as Lord. Paul says he prays constantly, and in 1 Thess 2:19 he says this.

“For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you?”

I find that quite amazing. That Paul values the Thessalonians so much that he basically says, “When the Lord Jesus comes back, if I have anything worth saying to him, it would be about you.” (speaking that to the Thessalonians).

That really is quite remarkable. I wonder how we view those who we have been able to help discover the Lord’s marvelous truth? When Jesus is to come back, where are we going to be able to point and say “Look Jesus, the Thessalonians, I helped them know you Lord!!” and be able to speak with Joy.

A challenging thought..
Read thessalonians, its short and very encouraging..
