Greetings loyal fans,
Well as you may or may not already known. I have finished all the teaching prac that I have to do, Ever! Now I dont have to work for free! In having a big celebration about it though, I will miss it. Even though it was alot of work, I did get to know some pretty cool students and teachers along the way, and I really enjoy seeing students “click” when explaining something.
Now I have got lots of questions to answer, do I go to the private system (if offered a job there), or do I go to the state system (if offered a job there). Hmmm. In thinking about these sort of “What is God’s will for me” questions, something I read in 1 Thessalonians really stands out.
“For this is the will of God, your sanctification:…” – 1 Thess 4:3
“Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful;he will surely do it” – 1 Thess 5: 23-24
It is really quite uncanny that we (as in me and other people), often worry or stress about what we are going to do in the future, where we will teach or work, how long will we teach or work for, etc. But the will of God for us, is to sanctify us. Sanctification really just means becoming more and more like Jesus. That is what God wants, and that is what he is doing, that is what God see’s as important.
The last verse quoted above means that as christians we need not worry about what the future holds, because what is important to God, our sanctification will surely happen, because that is what we were called for.
He will surely do it.
