Wireless…. Electricity?

Hate those cord messes underneath your desk? Wireless data transfer has been helping out people for years now but have you ever heard of wireless electricity?

Well, it has been invented, and it is close to marketing. The website www.ted.com has a great series of a talks on a multitude of issues. Here is the one I have found about witricity (wirless electricity).

There is a demo and everything. Great stuff. Will change the way we charge phones, run computers, charge electric cars (in the future), etc.

Tonight I learnt from my little Brother

Advice from an Old guy

I recently did a talk at SDBC Youth’s infusion on friday night. I did it on 2 Timothy 3:1 – 4:8. It is Paul giving some Timothy some great life advice. Here is the gist of what I said.. .

I have spent some time researching the validity of me doing a little bit of forex (foriegn exchange) trading. The further I got into my research the more I realised that in order for it to be worth the time I would need a bigger investment than the amount I had in mind. Sure, I could sit there all day and do micro trades that get me 15 cents at a time. But in the end I decided not now. It is not good use of my time.

Why Blog?

Being the first of many posts on this blog, I thought I had better clarify the reason for my blogging. There are many. Here are a few.

1. In order that I might be able to encourage other Christians, and “stir them up towards love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24 )

2. It will give me an opportunity to hone some of my thoughts down well enough to be able to express them clearly. Often times I can share opinions on matters that I have done nothing more than think about. Sometimes this can get me into trouble as careful thought hasn’t been done. By blogging I can practice sharing and developing my thoughts (particularly about the way that Christ Jesus wants us to live and act as 21st century Christians.
