Was reading the Desiring God blog and came across some wonderful truths pointed out by Paul in 1 Corinthians. Have a look at this! I found it exciting and inspiring! Read it, love it!
1. Christ died for us and rose again.
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and . . . He was buried, and . . . He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
2. He verified his resurrection by large public appearances.
After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep. (1 Corinthians 15:6)
Jesus often referred to himself as the “Son of Man”. Why?
Though some think (and it seems reasonable) that Jesus referred to himself as the Son of Man to emphasise his humanity, on closer study, I don’t think that was the (only) reason.
