The doctrine of the trinity

is a tricky thing to grasp you see

‘cause the maths tells us that one is three

and our brain says no I can’t agree.

But though it’s hard to understand

the Bible’s truth is close at hand

and it shows us in Matthew 3

verse 16 and verse 17 that God, is a trinity.

God is a trinity

three persons He is shown to be

in loving community

He shows us what we ought to be.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit

all are God now don’t you see it.

That God is one and one has three

all working together in unity

Our God, He is, a trinity.

My Music Career

I am going to officially start my music career with my very first song made with garage band on my mac. I was just trying things out to see what I could do, and this is what I came up with.

I know it is about poo’s but it is a natural part of life, and one which I have had much to do with over the past 2 years of father hood. Enjoy! (highly doubtful considering I have done some singing and keyboard based drumming in it). It is entitled “2 poo’s”

Useless LEGO creation

Here is a useless lego creation. But kinda, cool.. in a nerdy sorta way.

Kite camera!

I am a fan of stunt kites. Not the ones that take you up into the air, but the ones that you can fly around on a windy day with your feet on the ground. I would love to get a camera that is small enough to get up there and have a way of making it take some shots.

I came across a ballon with a camera attachment on it that allows you to press a button on the ground and have it take shots from above. It is called the Arial Capture, check it out.

Surprised by Leeland

I went to a concert put on by Parachute Music (newzealanders….) on Australia day and really enjoyed it.

First up there was new world son, which are most definately one of my most favourite live bands. Awesome drummer (with solo) and great groove to all their music. I find that I just have to move to it. It was great stuff.

Then there was Family Force 5 (which were very loud but very awesome). They have got some very heavy dance songs. The lead singer was wearing a set of hulk gloves to hold his microphone for most of the songs, launched his guitar about 6 or 7 metres across the stage where one of the crew was waiting for the catch, and was very active on stage.. quite entertaining.

But, my highlight of the night was Leeland. As it turned out they had a really good sound and the lyrics to their songs were awesome. Very God exhaulting and challenging. Very genuine praise to the LORD.

I had a great night out with the Mrs…
