Well my camera got its official “breaking in” yesterday at the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens. I got some great shots with it. One of which was shrunk to blog size and is seen below. I went with the creator, maintainer and entertainer of Home Page Fighter.
The events of the day included:
– Sweet talking the reception staff at the gardens to leave our bikes in their office.
– Crashing a retired performing bands party and eating their cake (They were lovely elderly ladies).
– Walking
– Seeing snakes, lizards, birds, turtles, bugs, plants, fish, etc.
– Lunch at the good old “soup hole” (a secret location in the gardens
All in all, God makes some really beautiful stuff, and it was a great day!

I’ve been here three times now and no blogging from either of the boys- come on now- all this going to camps has been way too much fun.
I like the flower beter than the soup.
That “soup hole” reminds me of those bowls on camps that we all do our washing up in… Ewwww… 😀
