Before B1 was born, I’d read books, websites and magazines about parenting; talked with mums and spent time with mums and babies. But I wasn’t prepared.

 

At our last antenatal class we were given the below handout. I was in labour at the time, so didn’t really take much notice but put it in the bag with everything else. I stumbled upon it when pregnant with B2 (B1 was by then nearly 2). I wanted to share it with you, as I have it hung in my kitchen as a reminder that everything doesn’t need to be perfect, and to give me  a giggle on those days like the one depicted.
